Thiruvananthapuram: Once the COVID-19 pandemic situation is over, there will changes relating to political alliances and Fronts in Kerala, opined CPM central committee member and Minister for Industries EP Jayarajan. Many who had earlier opposed LDF are now extending support to Pinarayi Vijayan government. A change will be reflected in the UDF on the parties in alliance, he told Mathrubhumi News.

Those who had opposed LDF till date are now in a dilemma on why they should oppose LDF. As a result many people have changed their stance. This change will soon reflect in political parties, he added.

Now Kerala is being governed by an administration that works for the welfare of everyone. Now people will not blindly oppose Communism and have already realized the fake campaigns by Congress.

Jayarajan also questioned the Oppositions claim that the contract for liquor sale app was given to CPM sympathizer. The only fact to be taken into consideration for a company is how good they are and not their political affiliation, he said.

“The efficient working of the government is making the opposition insecure. I am requesting them to stand by the government at least in countering the covid pandemic,” he said.

Jayarajan, pointed out the possibility of a section of Kerala Congress, either the Joseph faction or Jose K Mani faction, joining CPM. However, he was not ready to openly speak about it.
