Sabarimala pilgrimage: 25,000 devotees to be allowed; ban on Pamba bath lifted

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has prepared the guidelines for the Sabarimala Mandalam-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season. A total of 25,000 people will be allowed in the first days. The authorities have also granted permission for bathing in Pamba river.

Vehicles carrying the pilgrims will be allowed till Nilakkal. The virtual queue facility for darshan will be continued.

Meanwhile, the government also decided to increase the number of bookings and carry out ‘Neyyabhishekam’ like the previous year.

The pilgrimage season will commence on November 16.
