Kozhikode: Vadakara cooperative hospital has landed in controversy for allegedly using popular American actor and director Morgan Freeman’s photo in an advertisement. As the advertisement offering treatment for skin diseases triggered a controversy, the hospital authority was forced to remove it.
The hospital faced strong criticism after many people shared the photos of the controversial ad on social media.
Morgan Freeman is a winner of numerous awards including Oscar and Golden Globe. But the hospital used the photo of this famous personality to display an ad related to the treatment for diseases like warts and skin tags.
Reacting to the row, the hospital authority informed that they displayed the hoarding on Sunday and removed it immediately after realising the mistake.
