Bineesh Kodiyeri dons lawyer’s gown again, opens new office in Kochi

Kochi: Bineesh Kodiyeri, who was released on bail in the money laundering case relating to the Bengaluru drug case, has started a fresh chapter in life by turning a lawyer. He declared that he will be a full-time lawyer from now onwards. Bineesh has opened his new office along with his friends on Sunday.

PC George’s son Shone George and Ninu Mohandas are in Bineesh Kodiyeri’s team of lawyers. The trio were classmates.

Assuming the new office, Bineesh told media that he took a decision regarding this two years ago. Bineesh enrolled as a lawyer in 2006. But didn’t opt for the field as a career.

“Two years back, I decided to turn full-time lawyer. But due to the COVID situation and other reasons, I failed to pursue the dream. I hope I can perform better in this field,” said Binesh Kodiyeri.

He also opened up about his arrest and related controversies.

“I was arrested by ED officials on October 29, 2020. The arrest was recorded after summoning me for an interrogation. But I accepted all situations in a mature way. I’m going through a lot of challenges in life. Many rumours target me. As the case is before the court, I can’t disclose anything about it. I have faith in the judiciary. Let the court decide whether I’m an offender or not,” he added.
