Koottickal landslide: Rescue workers recover body of Alan after hours of search

Kottayam: The fire and rescue officials have reportedly recovered the body of Alan, who went missing in the landslide in Koottickal, on Monday night. It has been learnt that the rescue workers have received parts of the body of Alan.

Alan, who turned 18 on Monday, could not enjoy the birthday functions as planned.

The parts of the body discovered on Sunday were suspected to be of Alan and sent to medical college to confirm it. However, they were not Alan’s. Alan is the son of the couple Jomy and Sonia. The disaster also claimed the life of Sonia.
