Koottickal landslide: Search continues for Alan on his birthday


Today is the birthday of Alan, the missing boy in Koottickal. He was supposed to enjoy his favourite black forest cake today.

Kottayam: Today, October 18 is the birthday of Alan, the boy who went missing in the landslide at Koottickal. He was supposed to enjoy his favourite black forest cake today. But the people in the village are still searching for him under the pile of mud and rocks.

The parts of a body discovered on Sunday does not belong to Alan, the medical college report said. A leg and some other parts were found yesterday. During the post mortem, relatives raised suspicion that the body parts does not belong to Alan. Later, the body parts were shifted to the mortuary.

Alan is the son of Jomy and Sonia of Attuchal. The disaster also took the life of Sonia. The landslide took place when Jomy was talking about a landslide that happened near their house. Sarasamma and Roshni who were at the shop were also killed in the landslide.
