Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president K Sudhakaran on Monday said that he was done with “bragging” of chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan about the latter’s history with him. “We all saw what happened last time when I reminded him of our past,” said the MP.
He was reacting to the comment of the CM in the Assembly on Monday that opposition leader VD Satheesan could ask Sudhakaran to know about the “old Pinarayi Vijayan.” Satheesan had mocked the CM's security cover in an earlier statement. Pinarayi, in his reply in the Assembly, said if he was not the chief minister, he would have given a fitting reply to the comment.
“I was here all alone when you had absolute power,” said Pinarayi. He then asked Satheesan to check with Sudhakaran if he wanted to know more.
Sudhakaran, reacting to the media about this, said, “We have heard his boasts several times. An appropriate response ended it last time. Why does he have to keep talking about his goonda fight?”
Sudhakaran also asked why CM’s additional private secretary Raveendran did not appear before the ED for questioning in the Life Mission case if Pinarayi was so brave.
