KM Shaji

Kochi: In a breather to Muslim League leader and former MLA KM Shaji, the Kerala High Court on Wednesday stayed the vigilance case against him for amassing disproportionate assets. The court has been stayed for three months.

Shaji had approached the court with a petition seeking to quash the case. FIR registered was illegal, he noted in his petition. The court's intervention comes in this context.

However, the court will hear the petition again after three months.

Meanwhile, the high court earlier had quashed another vigilance case against the Shaji.
