Kerala HC criticises government over virtual queue system at Sabarimala
Kochi: Kerala High Court on Thursday criticised the state government and police over the virtual queue system of Sabarimala temple. How can the government and police decide on implementing the queue system when Devaswom Board has the power over the temple matters, the court asked.
The court asked whether the queue system has the approval of the board.
The system has been in place since 2011 and it aims to reduce the rush at the temple, the government told the court.
HC also criticised giving advertisements on the virtual queue website.
