Kerala has a lot to learn from Japan in tackling natural disasters, says CM in Osaka
Tokyo: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that Kerala has a lot to learn from Japan in terms of facing natural disasters. In a meeting organised by the Malayali community in Osaka, he said that Japan is a nation that has effectively tackled natural disasters.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan along with ministers EP Jayarajan and AK Saseendran reached Osaka on Sunday evening by 5.15 (Japan local time).
The Chief Minister interacted with the Keralites in Osaka. A lot of Keralites, including professionals, industrialists and students, took part in the meeting. He appreciated the role of Non- resident Keralites in helping the state during the times of crisis. He also added that Loka Kerala Sabha is a platform where non-resident malayalees can contribute towards the development of the state.
