Kochi: Kerala government on Tuesday issued notification regulating CBI investigations in the state.
As per the new notification, CBI can only undertake a case in the state with the permission of the state or based on a court order.
The notification was issued by the Home Secretary as per the decision of the cabinet.
State government has withdrawn the permission which enabled CBI to take up cases in Kerala without prior permission of the state government.
The government took this decision after the CBI took over the corruption case in connection with the Life Mission project.
