Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has decided to reinstate the old way of having separate CEOs for IT parks under it.

Till 2017, there were separate CEOs and now the government decided to appoint only one CEO for all three IT parks (Technopark, Infopark and Cyberpark), apparently to brand in all under one roof of Kerala IT parks.

However, the plan seemingly did not work out and posed many technical challenges. It is learnt that giving attention to each IT park gets compromised when a single person handles all affairs and appointing separate CEOs is better.

Meanwhile, the government accepted the resignation of John M Thomas, who was heading the Kerala IT parks. IT Mission director Snehil Kumar temporarily holds charge, while the procedures for appointing new CEOs is ongoing.
