Though the development comes out on the day students ended their protest against alleged caste discrimination in the institute, reports said resignations were tendered to the institute’s former director on January 18 itself. Similarly, it is learnt that resigned faculties were close to former director KRNNIVSA Shankar Mohan who quit the role on January 21. The resigned faculties are apparently unhappy over students’ allegation that faculties in the institute have no quality.
