Malappuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the Charitable Hospital and Dialysis Centre in Kadampuzha here on Tuesday. The dialysis centre aims to provide free services to poor kidney patients.

The inauguration will take place at 11.30 am in a ceremony presided over by Devaswom Minister K Radhakrishnan.

The centre has been set up by the Kadampuzha Devaswom Board as part of its welfare hospital which has been functioning since 1988.

The dialysis centre will operate on a building constructed in the shape of a kidney. It will contain as many as 25 dialysis machines.

There are plans to convert the centre into a hospital and research centre focussing on Nephrology in the future.

Charitable Hospital and Dialysis Centre is part of the charity works carried out by Kadampuzha Devaswom over the years, raising the message of 'Manavaseva Madhava Seva' (Service to man is service to God).
