New Delhi: Chief Secretary VP Joy, who headed the team that went to study the Gujarat model of governance, praised the dashboard monitoring system in the BJP ruled state. He added that this was a comprehensive system for providing services to the public. His remark came after the team studied the model at the residence of the Gujarat Chief Minister.
Kerala Chief Secretary V P Joy and his staff officer Umesh NSK will visit the BJP-ruled state from April 27 to April 29 to attend the presentation on the Gujarat Chief Minister's Dashboard system for project implementation in the western state.
The team arrived at the CM's residence on Thursday morning. Following this, they conducted a detailed study on the dashboard system for around one-and-half hours. He added that this system could help disseminate information and receive feedback from the public about various services provided by the government.
Gujarat adopted the system in 2019 as part of the e-governance initiative to bring government projects to the public. The system enables the monitoring of 21 state departments and makes necessary amendments to it.
The team will return to Kerala on Friday after having a round of talks with the Gujarat officials.
