Kerala Bank a major contribution of LDF government: Pinarayi Vijayan
Thiruvananthapuram: The formation of Kerala Bank was one of the major contributions of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
“Kerala bank will be the second biggest bank in the state and an asset in rebuilding Kerala,” the CM said.
He was speaking to the media about the LDF government’s achievement as it enters its final year.
There were people who said forming Kerala Bank was impossible and there are those who continue to say so. But Kerala Bank became a reality shattering the hopes of all such naysayers, the CM said.
During the coronavirus crisis, the Kerala Bank is supporting both the general public and expats. It will give strength to modern ideas and projects in agricultural and industrial sectors.
The Kerala Bank will also provide services to customers at low expense besides providing loans at low interest rates, the CM said.
