Thiruvananthapuram: The KPCC president K Sudhakaran on Thursday said that no one shall protest over the new KPCC list.
“All sections of the society are well represented in the new committee. We have found good leaders from the state. Cut shorting a list of 300+ members to 50 was a tough journey," Sudhakaran said.
“There will be disgruntled members as the number is now reduced. But they all will be given other opportunities. We have prepared a master plan for that. All the important leaders will be accommodated. They will not hit the street over this list,” Sudhakaran claimed.
Congress will implement power decentralization, he added.
“All members in the new committee are from either A or I groups. No one is rejected over their group affiliation. We considered only capacity,” Sudhakaran said.
Talking about women representation, Sudhakaran said the list of secretaries will have more women in it.
Though Sudhakaran claimed the committee has 10 percent women representation, there are only 5 women in the 56 members list.
