Major reshuffle in top bureaucracy: TV Anupama, Adeela Abdulla get new posts

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has carried out a major reshuffle in the top bureaucracy of the state on Thursday.TV Anupama IAS, director of the Women and Child Development Department has been appointed as the new director of the ST development department.

Wayanad district collector Adeena Abdulla has replaced TV Anupama as the director of the Women and Child Development Department. Adeela will have the additional charge of Gender Park CEO and state lottery department director.

Meanwhile, the government also approved the appointment of new district collectors in Kollam, Malappuram, Wayanad and Kannur.

Mohammad Y Safirulla, the incumbent additional secretary of the Electronics and Information Department will assume the office of special commissioner to Kerala Goods and Service Tax department.

Survey and Land Records department director S Sambasiva Rao will have the additional charge of the Kerala State Transport Project director and Kerala Road Fund Board CEO.

Entrance examinations commissioner A Geetha will be appointed as the new collector in Wayanad.

S Shanavas, mission director of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme will be the new CEO of Cochin Smart Mission Limited. He will have the additional charges of Vyttila Mobility Hub Society and Kochi Metropolitan Transport Authority.

Kollam district collector Abdul Nasar has replaced Shanavas as mission director of MGNRES. Ernakulam district development commissioner Afsana Parveen will be the new Kollam district collector.

Dr D Sajith Babu, director of the Civil Supplies Department will have the additional charge of Institute of Land and Disaster Management Director.

Employment and Training Department director VR Premkumar will be appointed as Malappuram collector.
