Heavy rain to continue in Kerala, fishermen asked not to venture into sea

Thiruvananthapuram: Heavy rain will continue to batter Kerala on Wednesday too. IMD alerted that central Kerala and north Kerala are likely to receive extremely heavy rainfall.

Yellow alert issued in 9 districts. Monsoon wind also strengthened in the state.

IMD forecasted strong winds with a speed reaching 45 to 65 kmph is likely over Kerala.

The Kerala Disaster Management Authority urged the people residing in hilly areas to exercise caution.

Fishermen are advised not to venture into sea till Saturday.
