Kerala to celebrate Bakrid on July 21

Kozhikode: Muslim believers in Kerala will celebrate Bakrid on Wednesday, July 21. Lacking information about the start of Dhul-Hijjah lunar month, first day of Dhul-Hijjah will be observed on Monday and Bakrid will be celebrated on July 21.

The announcement was made by Panakkad Syed Mohammedali Shihab Thangal, Samastha President Sayyid Muhammad Jifri Muthukkoya Thangal and Samyuktha Mahal Qazis Kanthapuram A. P. Aboobacker Musliyar, Sayyid Ibraheem Khaleel Al Bukhari and Samastha General Secretary Prof K Ali Kutty Musliyar.
