K Surendran seeks reply from CM over withdrawal of Kitex

Kozhikode: BJP state chief K Surendran asked Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to respond over the withdrawal of Kitex from Kerala. He alleged that the LDF government is taking political revenge. The BJP chief was addressing the media here on Saturday.

“The industries minister has taken revenge against Kitex group. Everybody knows the reason behind it. Though Kerala is claimed to be industry friendly, it is listed only in 24th position. Even CM’s daughter selected Bengaluru to start her business. The LDF government only aims to destroy those who hate CPM. They follow this policy in the field of politics as well as industries," criticised Surendran.

Attacking the LDF government, Surendran demanded an explanation from the Chief Minister for the withdrawal of Kitex group from Kerala.

“This is not a subject of Kitex alone. It affects thousands of people in Kerala. The Pinarayi Vijayan government has been destroying the image of Kerala. There is no need to blame BJP over it, he added.

Surendran also criticised the state government for hiding the COVID deaths in Kerala.

“Did the state get top position by hiding COVID deaths or producing fake details?. Cruel violation of human rights has been taking place in the state. Why do the government torture the poor people for publicity?" asked Surendran.
