Thiruvananthapuram: Congress leader and former home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan has received a death threat through an anonymous letter on Thursday.
Opposition leader VD Satheesan revealed the matter to the media here. He also said that the anonymous letter was sent to the address of the MLA hostel.

In the letter, Thiruvanchoor has been warned that he will be killed along with his family members if he does not leave India within 10 days. The letter was posted from Kozhikode.
Thiruvachoor has filed a complaint with the Chief Minister over the death threat. Meanwhile, VD Satheesan alleged that the accused in TP Chandrasekharan murder case are behind the death threat.
Thiruvanchoor was the home minister when TP Chandrasekharan was murdered. Hence, the accused want to take revenge against him. A detailed probe should be carried out urgently into the death threat, demanded the opposition leader.
