Thiruvananthapuram: Former opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala forwarded a letter to AICC president Sonia Gandhi expressing his displeasure over the election of a new opposition leader. In the letter, Chennithala wrote that he felt humiliated when the party elected a new opposition leader.
“The party should have told me the decision to remove me from the post of opposition leader. If I was informed by the High Command, I would have stepped back earlier. I was insulted when an election was carried out for the post,” complained Chennithala.
He also expressed dissatisfaction over not getting support from within the party for his movements against the LDF government.
