Thiruvananthapuram: Former opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala has extended greetings to Pinarayi Vijayan who will swear in as Chief Minister of Kerala on Thursday. He contacted Pinarayi Vijayan over phone to extend wishes to the CM who is heading for his second term.
Ramesh Chennithala informed the matter through his Facebook page. He also extended UDF’s support to the new government.
"Congress-led opposition will not boycott the swearing-in ceremony. Amidst the surge in the COVID-19 case, we would not attend the event at the central stadium. We will attend the ceremony online along with the public,” Chennithala wrote on his Facebook page.
