Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala is likely to receive heavy rain in the next five days, forecasted India Meteorological Department (IMD). Following this, the authority sounded yellow alert in 6 districts including Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad.
“Thunderstorm with light to moderate rainfall and gusty winds with speed reaching 40 kmph is likely to occur at one or two places in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kozhikode, Wayanad & Kannur districts of Kerala and over Lakshadweep islands,” read the alert issued by IMD.
IMD has predicted 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm rainfall in isolated places within 24 hours.

April 13 - Wayanad
April 14 – Idukki, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad
