Kozhikode: BJP state president K Surendran has criticised minister KT Jaleel and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan following the controversial Lokayukta order. He alleged that CM is taking a double standard in the matter as Jaleel acts as a bridge to the UAE consulate.
“KT Jaleel has got a benefit which was not given to EP Jayarajan. This matter has turned into a political issue inside CPM,” he alleged.
Jaleel acts as a bridge between UAE Consulate and government. He speaks Arabic fluently. Jaleel got many illegal links. He has been engaged in fraudulent activities with the officials in the consulate for the past 4 years. Because of this, the CM is taking a double standard over the matter. In this case, he is not taking a similar action which was taken against EP Jayarajan, criticised Surendran.
Talking to Mathrubhumi News, the BJP leader expressed hope that his party will script history in the assembly polls.
