Kasaragod: An artificial limb was found near Udma MLA K Kunhiraman’s house. Earlier, Youth Congress activists had staged a protest threatening to chop off the MLA’s leg. When a probe was progressing into this incident, the aritifical limb was found. Following this, Bekal police initiated a probe into it.
The artificial limb was found on the path which heads to the MLA’s residence. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the limb as informed by the MLA.
Youth Congress activists staged a protest march on the second anniversary of Periya martyrdom. While staging a protest march, the activists threatened the MLA that they will chop off his legs.
In view of this threat, the MLA filed a complaint with the police after finding the artificial limb close to his house.
