NCP still with LDF, confirms AK Saseendran

Kozhikode: Transport minister AK Saseendran has confirmed that NCP has not walked out of LDF so far. The NCP leader declared that a final decision on quitting the Left front will be taken only after the national leadership informs their stand.

“Only media reports on NCP rift. NCP leader Peethambaran master also stated that his party still belongs to the Left front,” Saseendran told media.

NCP has to decide on quitting LDF and joining UDF following the dispute over Pala seat.

According to reports, the national leadership of NCP has summoned NCP state president TP Peethambaran and Mani C Kappan for a meeting in Delhi.

Amidst this, AK Saseendran has responded over the speculations on NCP rift.
