Thiruvananthapuram: State finance minister Thomas Isaac alleged conspiracy of opposition behind the rank holders staging protest in front of the secretariat. He pointed out that the response of the UDF leaders justifies their involvement in the protest.
“Most of the rank holders union were formed with a political motive. Temporary staff was regularised in only those vacancies not reported to PSC. So, the candidate should end the protest,” appealed the minister.
“They are staging a protest against the government as somebody would have convinced them they have right to get government job after getting named in the PSC rank list. They should refrain from the protest realising the facts. The statements of the opposition members have confirmed that they conspired the protest against the government. At any cost, the government can’t give appointment to all candidates in the rank list,” declared Thomas Isaac.
In the state budget, the government has proposed a project to assure employment to 20 lakh educated people. They will get a better job that offers salary as per government pay scale.
