Thrissur: Four fishermen, who went missing after their boat capsized at sea near Thalikulam here, were rescued by Coast Guard and other fishermen. The four were identified as Thalikulam natives Subrahmanyan, Iqbal, Vijayan and Kuttan.

They ventured into the part of sea which is 18 nautical miles from deep sea at around 4 am on Tuesday.

One of them phoned and informed about the boat accident around 8 am. Following this, Coast Guard and other fishermen launched search and carried out rescue operation.

The four were rescued around afternoon.

According to reports, none of them suffered any health issues. They will be taken to the shore soon.
