Pathanamthitta: UDF candidate Adv Vibitha Babu who became viral through social media was defeated by LDF candidate in the local self-government polls. She contested the polls from Mallappally division of the district panchayat.
LDF candidate CK Lathakumari and BJP candidate Elizabeth Koshy were Vibitha's opponents.
In the initial hours of counting, Vibitha was trailing in the third position. BJP candidate was leading at Mallappally division in the first few hours.
Later, LDF candidate marched towards victory and won.
