ED carries out simultaneous raids in houses of Popular Front leaders at TVM, Malappuram

Thiruvananthapuram/Malappuram: The Enforcement Directorate has started a raid at the houses of Popular Front leaders in Thiruvananthapuram and Malappuram on Thursday morning. According to reports, the ED officials have reached the houses of Karamana Ashraf Moulavi, Nasarudheen Elamaram and OMA Salam for the raid.

Officials from Kochi ED office are raiding Karama Ashraf Moulavi’s house at Poonthura in Thiruvananthapuram.

Meanwhile, a raid of ED is being carried out at the houses of two leaders in Malappuram. Houses of Popular Front chairman OMA Salam at Manjeri and Popular Front national secretary Nasarudheen Elamaram’s house at Vazhakkad are being raided.

It is hinted that ED officials initiated the raid to probe the financial deals of the Popular Front leaders.

Meanwhile, the ED has not disclosed further details of the raid.
