Thiruvananthapuram: As the Local Self-Government polls are round the corner, officials in charge of election duty will distribute postal ballots from Wednesday.
The voters can collect the application form for the postal ballot from the office of the returning officer and website of the State Election Commission.
Three separate applications should be submitted to get the postal ballot for voting in grama panchayat, block panchayat and district panchayat election.
The voter will be allowed to submit three applications in a single envelope.
The returning officers are also directed to consider the application of the voters who request postal ballots for voting in the three levels with a single application.
After casting the vote, the voter should sign under the self-declaration and submit to the returning officer by post or person. There is no need to paste a stamp on the cover while sending via post.
