Kozhikode: Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs V Muraleedharan vowed that he will try to resolve the problems of Keralites irrespective of political affiliation. He was addressing a reception organised at Mathrubhumi office here on Saturday.
“When Prime Minister arrived in Kerala, he said the government stands for the people too who have not cast their votes for NDA. As a union minister, I too follow this policy,” said Muraleedharan.
“MPs from Kerala will work together to settle the issues of Kerala,” he added.
The union minister also noted that he will visit senior parliamentary members and seek their recommendations and opinions.
“I will strive my level best to discuss Kerala’s demands and opinions with the centre,” noted Muraleedharan.
Appreciating Mathrubhumi’s contribution, the minister stated that apart from a newspaper Mathrubhumi represents the conscience of Keralites. He asserted that Mathrubhumi played a significant role in building his views.
Mathrubhumi managing director MP Veerendra Kumar, managing editor PV Chandran, directors PV Gangadharan and TK Jayarajan, joint managing editor PV Nidheesh and Mathrubhumi executive editor PI Rajeev received V Muraleedharan at Mathrubhumi office.
