Government responsible for all violence: NSS

Government is implementing atheism in Kerala under as claiming renaissance,” slammed NSS general secretary.

Changanassery: Responding to the violent protests in Kerala following the entry of two women in Sabarimala temple, the Nair Service Society condemned the state government here on Sunday. NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair said the government is responsible for the violence over the issue.

“The Government is implementing atheism in Kerala while claiming renaissance,” slammed NSS general secretary in the statment issued by the NSS.

“In the shade of Supreme Court verdict, the government destroyed the customs of Sabarimala. Planned moves are being made to implement atheism in Kerala. The government is misusing power to enforce their party policy,” said Sukumaran Nair.

The public themselves have declared that the government was responsible for all violence in the state, he added.

He noted that government created an issue which was easy to resolve but more critical to handle.

“At present, the government is focused on enforcing unnecessary prohibition orders, arresting innocent people, creating anarchy across the state, telling too many lies to protect their interests, insulting Hindu leaders and challenging devotees. This is not suitable for a democratic state,” he stated.

He noted that there is nothing illegal in the protest of the devotees. If the government is not protecting the interest of devotees they will turn against the government, he added.

Sukumaran Nair pointed out that protection of belief is necessary for the existence of human race. Nobody will be allowed to shatter the belief, he added.
