Amit Shah gives green signal to BJP’s Sabarimala protest

Thiruvananthapuram: BJP national president Amit Shah has given sanction to the protest staged by the state committee over women entry into Sabarimala temple. He has given the direction to party leaders while attending an unofficial meeting here at Taj hotel on Sunday.

Hence, it is confirmed that national leaders of the party will participate in the protests in Sabarimala during the next pilgrimage season.

The leaders reviewed that the next stage of protest will be something different. Though the party has not confirmed whether the participation in the protest contributed to political gains, the leaders believe it helped the party grab public support.

People will feel that BJP will be with them to fight for justice and protect traditional customs, observed BJP.

As national president also supported the protest, the state committee is confident about the protest.

Amit Shah directed the leaders to continue with the protest though there is only limited loophole to overrule the supreme court verdict on Sabarimala.

He also promised the Pandalam royal family representatives that his party will stand with the devotees.
