Pala: A group of bishops arrived at the Pala Sub jail to meet bishop Franco Mulakkal who is remanded in connection with the nun abuse case. Kanjirappally bishop Mar Mathew Arakkal, auxiliary bishop Mar Jose Pulikkal and Malankara auxiliary bishop Samuel Mar Irenios paid a visit to the jail and met bishop Franco on Monday morning.
Though they visited the jail on Sunday, the officials were denied permission to meet Franco Mulakkal. As Sunday was a holiday, jail authorities directed them to come on Monday.
