Kochi: Kavya Madhavan, the wife of actor Dileep and one of the witnesses of the actress sexual assault case of 2017, is to be quizzed next week. It is reported that after April 18, Crime Branch will question Kavya Madhavan at her residence in Aluva if she did not find out another place for interrogation meanwhile.
Crime Branch withdrew from questioning Kavya at her residence ‘Padma Sarovaram’ in Aluva due to lack of facilities. A notice will be given to Kavya to appear for interrogation on Tuesday or Wednesday. The Crime Branch is of the decision that questioning can be done at a place convenient to both parties. However, the Crime Branch decided that if Kavya is particular that interrogation should take place at Padmasarovaram, she could be interrogated there.
On Monday, the investigation team will submit a progress report on the further probe into the actress attack case.
