Karnataka RTC bus waylaid in Thiruvananthapuram


Police arrested and removed the activists who squatted in front of the bus raising slogans against CAA.

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Students Union (KSU) and Campus Front of India activists waylaid a Karnataka Road Transport Corporation bus here on Friday.

The protest was to condemn the Karnataka police brutality against people protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Police arrested and removed the activists who squatted in front of the bus raising slogans against CAA.

Police demanded the protesters to disburse from the area but the activists refused. Following this, police arrested and forcibly removed them from the spot.

The Karnataka RTC bus later resumed its journey.
