Bengaluru: Kerala Gold Smuggling Case accused Swapna Suresh revealed that Karnataka police have registered a case based on her complaint against Vijesh Pillai.

"They have registered a crime against Vijesh Pillai, recorded my statement, took me to the hotel where Vijesh Pillai stayed, and the meeting took place and collected evidence," she said in a Facebook post.

Earlier, Swapna remarked that middleman Vijesh Pillai had approached her with an offer from M V Govindan of a hefty amount of Rs 30 crore to leave the country and settle anywhere else.

She also questioned the "anonymous person" who stayed in the hotel with Vijesh. The case is registered at Krishnapuram police station in Bengaluru.
