Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday rejected the plea filed by Bineesh Kodiyeri to quash the money laundering case filed against him by Enforcement Directorate.
Bineesh had demanded scraping of the case citing the arrest was unlawful and the procedures were not followed. However, the court rejected the plea.
Meanwhile, the hearing in the bail plea filed by Bineesh will be considered at the Bengaluru Sessions Court today at 3 pm. The plea was earlier considered on November 18 and then deferred to November 24.
At the same time, it is reported that ED will file a counter affidavit along with more evidences against Bineesh. ED is also likely to inform court on the details of interrogating Latheef and Ananda Padmanabhan.
