Kannur youth nabbed for stealing bride’s mobile phone at wedding party

Sreekandapuram: A youth was arrested in Kannur for allegedly stealing the mobile phone of a bride during the wedding party. The accused has been identified as Aanthoor native Praveen (32). The incident took place last week.

The accused stole the mobile phone worth Rs 17,000 during the wedding party held at Valakkai in Kannur. Praveen was nabbed following a probe conducted by the police with the support of cybercell.

Police have recovered the mobile phone which was sold to a mobile store in Taliparamba.
