Accused SS Jithesh
Kannur: In a shocking report from Kannur’s Taliparamba, police have arrested an accused who was charged under POCSO Act and out on bail, over the survivor’s fresh complaint that he attempted to molest her again.
The accused is SS Jithesh, a native of Thiruvananthapuram.
According to the police, the person was out on bail after being booked for abduction and sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl, whom he aquainted through social media.
As per the fresh case, the person attempted to sexually assault the survivor again at Dharmasala on October 22. The person is again charged under POCSO act in the fresh case.
Meanwhile, the bail was granted with stringent conditions, including entry ban to Kannur district. The accused is now under juducial custody.
