Thiruvananthapuram: Condemning the murder of CPM activist in Kannur's Thalassery, LDF convener A Vijayaraghavan raised sharp criticism against RSS. He alleged that the RSS killed CPM activist Haridasan to create riots in the district.
"Their attempts to destroy the peaceful situation in the district ended up in murder. The murder of CPM activist on the flag day of the party congress is not a coincidence," Vijayaraghavan said criticising the RSS.
As Kannur is all set for the party congress, the party workers were busy with arrangements for it. The murder of Haridasan amidst this gives a clear indication of conspiracy by the RSS. Those who appeal for peace must voice against this murder. Public outrage must come against it. I would like to express my grief and disgust over the murder, he added.
Thalassery witnessed the cruel face of RSS. CPM doesn’t have a policy of counter-attacks as we want to maintain peace, Vijayaraghavan said.
