Thiruvananthapuram:  In a scathing attack on CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran, CPM central committee member E P Jayarajan said the CPI leader’s criticism against police and home department is a violation of the coalition dharma.

In a post on his Facebook page on Wednesday, Jayarajan said he doesn’t know whether Kanam was appointed as an authority for the LDF.

“The LDF has to frame its policies after holding discussions. Kanam lacks authority to take decisions on the inclusion or expulsion of any party in the front. It is not a good gesture to earn brownie points by making provocative remarks instead of presenting the topic at appropriate platforms,” he adds.

“The trend of a leader of a constituent party of the front openly blaming the government, Chief Minister and a department handled by the CM is highly condemnable. Despite the government reiterating that it has done all possible assistance for Jishnu’s family, Kanam still hasn’t understood it,” he says.
