Kalamassery bus burning case: NIA nabs accused from his hideout in Kannur


Kannur: A team of NIA officials has nabbed an accused in the Kalamassery bus burning case of 2005 from his hideout in Kannur on Friday.

The accused is identified as Firoz Edapally who was on the run. It is reported that he was hiding at a house in Pothuvacheri here. NIA officials with the help of Edakad police traced his location after receiving a tip-off.

He is one of the accomplices of Thadiyantavide Nazeer, who was convicted in the Kozhikode twin blasts case and sentenced to life imprisonment. Firoz will be questioned in Kochi regarding the case.
