Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran stated that Kadakampally Surendran will not be forgiven for the injustice and brutality he showed in Sabarimala issue even though he is remorseful now.
The volte-face of Kadakampally Surendran is totally ridiculous. Earlier, he had claimed that he would not change the stance with their continuous failures in election. But now he is lamenting due to the fear of defeat, K Surendran said.
Surendran was reacting to reports on Kadakampally Surendran expressing regret over the issues on women entry to Sabarimala temple. Kadakampally should take up the responsibility of helping Maneethi Sangam and Rehana Fathima ascend the 18 steps, he added.
K Surendran alleged that attempts to destroy the temples in Kerala started after Kadakampally became minister. He tried to destroy Sabarimala, Guruvayur and Padmanabha Swamy temples. People would not believe him anymore, Surendran said.
CPM had done a volte-face in Sabarimala issue during previous election too. They are not changing the affidavit submitted in the supreme court. This is an attempt to betray the devotees and they won’t believe this, he said.
