Kadakampally Surendran's gunman named an accused in missing cartridges case
Thiruvananthapuram: Minister Kadakampally Surendran’s gunman has also been named as an accused in the missing cartridges case. Sanil Kumar is third among the eleven accused in the case. The case was registered in 2019 by Peroorkada police.
Cases have been filed against the policemen due to lapse in maintaining register. The accused gave wrong information regarding stock in the register. The FIR stated that the accused made excess profit by resorting to cheating. Even though FIR hinted serious irregularities, there has been no investigation against the senior officers yet.
The Crime Branch is investigating the matter. Peroorkada police registered the case in 2019 based on the complaint by Thiruvananthapuram SAT commander.
Kadakampally Surendran has responded that Sanil Kumar will remain as his staff until he is proved guilty. He also added that being included in the accused list does not mean that he is guilty of the crime.
