Kadakampally reacts to Kummanam's comment on Sabarimala, says no idea of his intentions
Sabarimala: Devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran reacted to the statement made by BJP leader Kummanam Rajasekharan that the government is converting Sabarimala into a tourist place. The minister added that this fake campaign is unleashed with an intention to destroy Sabarimala.
“This is a centre of pilgrims. They have been coming here for over 100 years. I don’t know about Kummanam’s intentions and if the fake campaign aims at destroying Sabarimala. He would not have made such comments if he had a little interest or faith in Sabarimala,” Kadakampally said.
The minister also made it clear that arrangements will be made to send back people who test positive for COVID in the same vehicle they came. If it is not possible, the government will arrange other facilities. The patients will be admitted in FLCT, if necessary. Two COVID hospitals have been arranged for this, the minister added.
