Malappuram: Higher Education Minister K. T. Jaleel criticised media reports and welcomed interrogation by the Customs department.

Taking to Facebook, Jaleel said that he saw news channels reporting that the Customs was going to question him. The minister added that he would be happy if Customs department decides to interrogate him.

“Even if a 1,000 investigation agencies try for 10,000 years, nobody will be able to find me involved in corruption, financial fraud, gold smuggling or any anti national activities,” wrote Jaleel in his FB post.

The minister also attached the response to the letter sent by the Enforcement Directorate seeking details of assets owned by Jaleel and his family.

Taking a dig at the Congress, Muslim League and BJP, Jaleel stated that if anyone finds him, his wife or their children own anything more that what was mentioned in the letter, they can contact the central agencies through Congress leaders, young lions of Muslim League or the state leaders of BJP which rules the country.
